Scorpions, despite being arachnids and not typically associated with water, can survive in water and can indeed float and move in a swimming-like manner when placed in water. This is not a typical or preferred behavior for scorpions, and they do not seek out water for swimming. So, while they can ‘swim’ in a sense, it’s more of a survival mechanism than a natural activity.
