Scorpions can have between 6 to 12 eyes. Most species have two larger eyes on top of their heads and two to five pairs of smaller eyes along the front corners of their heads. However, the number and functionality of eyes can vary greatly between different species, and some cave-dwelling or subterranean species may have no functional eyes at all, living in complete darkness.
