Scorpions have a total of eight legs. Like other arachnids, they possess four pairs of legs. These legs are located on the thorax, which is the middle part of their body. In addition to the eight legs, scorpions also have a pair of specialized front limbs called pedipalps, which resemble pincers and are used for grasping prey and defense. So, in total, scorpions have six pairs of appendages: four pairs of walking legs and a pair of pedipalps.
